Bench seat out — bmw buckets in !

Hey everybody, just join today because I was forced when I wanted to look at pictures on the side of somebody’s lift LOL anyway I’ve been researching all types of things on my 2013 regular cab on this site for the last month or two… And the first thing I had to do to my truck was get rid of this bench seat, I ended up fabricating my own track but using the same ounce to put these BMW mini buckets in… Actually only one is in right now because waiting for another mount but let me know what you think! After I got it all figured out it made me think about this site and how many people might be interested in me making brackets for their seats they pick out?? I just didn’t see spending over $1000 on Corbreau seats as an option really

 

They kind of remind me of the movie with the white balloon body robot.

Thanks! Yea the lights did come on which I expected of course, but I have read that I could possibly put a resistor in them to get them to turn off or I actually thought about possibly taking the airbags and wiring off of my bench seat and putting them in these seats, not sure if that’s even possible though or if I want to. The seats have Heaters that I am thinking about wiring up but not sure how to do it yet either. Anybody have any experience with wiring or electrical for seat functions?

 

I mean...close enough in my head. Lol.

 

How are your turn signals?

I just took out my airbags and wiring from my original bench seat and installed them in the new bucket seats. Now I have a fully functioning safety system with airbags and all the lights are off… I am my turn signal to work too!!
