I have an A.R.E. cap which has sagged the back a little bit. I also pull a trailer 1-2 times a month. Anyone have success with Airlift bags ?

I installed Firestone bag on stock springs. Ride quality suffered. I ended up putting Deaver leaf springs in and the ride is superior now.

I have the Firestone Ride-Rite's, but on a 2015 DCLB. I bought the truck with the shell already on, and it had OME nitrocharger struts so I don't have a frame of reference for stock. But Even with those struts completely worn out before I replaced them with Bilsteins I was happy with the ride. It seemed to help a lot with body roll in the mountains as well. (or at least when I didn't have them aired up I noticed).

The installation was a little time consuming, as I recall about 1000 turns with a tiny open end wrench in a tight space on some of the bolts, but not anything very challenging. So far they've held up great over 3.5 years, including hundreds of miles of fire road at 30-40mph. As I just mentioned on another post, look up the daystar cradles if you're worried about droop when crawling.

I haven't touched the leafs, so I can't comment there.
