Yes.. it's an R8 and I have a collet holder on order. I have a set of collets in the kit I ordered but no collet holder. Haha.

 

R8 is pretty standard but I bet a complete set is pretty expensive. Been awhile since I priced them.
You'll find running that end mill in a collet is going to work much better.

 

This is the kit I bought and I'm not sure why it didn't come with a holder.

I don't mind investing in tools especially if it's going to allow me to make things easier.

 

I agree, I’ve ran some end mills in a drill chuck when they were an odd size and we didn’t have a collet, the chatter is awful, not to mention runout.

You remove that drill chuck and stick the appropriate collet in there and tighten up the draw bar. That kit came with what you need it looks like to me.
