Biggest tires with CMC

What would be the biggest tires I can put on my taco with cmc with spc uca 3inch lift and high clearance bumper. Just found out 35" I would need alot of cutting and modification to make it work.

 

40s if you cut enough

 

Depends how much you want to cut. If no cutting stick to factory size. Anything bigger than a 33” tire and it’s a gamble depending on wheel backspace and actual tire dimension.

 

I was think maybe 34. I have 33 right now and it looks small.

 

i put skinny 36 on mine and they fit better and easier than my old wider 33s

 

35s is the way to go. It’s honestly perfect!

 

What modifications did you do? I did most of the cutting push my tires forward as much as can with the spc cmc hammered down some metal by the firewalls. Front I don't think I'm gonna have any problems with my high clearance bumper. The thing that making me think twice is cutting my fender and how my truck would run with out regearing it.

 

What is the exact tires size you running now?

 

285/75r17 is becoming really popular. 35’s just cause too many issues, but look phenomenal.

 

255/85-16 or 255/80-17 with a CMC

37s with a full tub

 

285 75 17 sounds good.
