I noticed the Doc ID was missing for the A/T fluid replacement: RM000004LXE00TX. It's buried in the manual as well so thought that might be helpful. Other search terms are: "AC60F AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID: REPLACEMENT". I also attached the specific pages for that in case anyone didn't have/want the full manual.

Anyone have an idea on how often the fuel filter needs replacement. I looked through the Maintenance Guide an there was no mention of it. Only inspection of the fuel lines.

Looks like it is part of the fuel pump. I imagine it lasts the life of the pump

Redline makes transfer case oil that meets Toyota spec: Redline MT-LV GL-4 Gear Oil--how much of a difference it makes--im not 100% certain but since its spec thats what I used. I used amzoil 75-90 for the front and rear diffts in the bag that shotgunbill420 posted. And i used Redline MT-90 in the Manual trans fluid. Works like a charm!

Old-ish thread I know. This is just for a bit of fun...
Both you and @Tacowin1013 spelled it with a "z".
Al Amatuzio created Amsoil. He initially spelled it with the "z" cuz - his name. Penzoil sued him and he had to change it to an "s".
Goofy, huh? Especially since Penzoil didn't even have a synthetic then (1972) to confuse it with.

So you both would have been correct if this was 1972. :hattip:

I have a question that may seem strange, but, what do you do with the cans of fluid from Toyota? I am looking to buy these from the dealer for my service fluid changes, but are these really just a can you just open?

Thanks. I’ve not used a can of oil since the late 70’s. LOL.

I remember it being spelled correctly with a Z . I do my research on companies to ensure my money isn't being wasted lol. But thank you for the history lesson , I never knew.
