Your welcome. Dude I've lived on the west coast my whole life of coarse and my wife and I find the further we go east the more states we love to explore. Theres only so much to see in Oregon and California.

Don’t go too far east… everything is private. Other than some friends property’s, I have to put in some serious miles to find any adventure!

Well this tune is definitely gonna get a good testing going from Washington state to Yellowstone stone national park and back lol. I'm gonna take bear tooth pass northern entrance. We love mountains . Since I have found a happy spot with my truck with this tune. How I have mine set up on 285/75/16 stock gears km3's. I have regular throttle and run premium fuel and this is right where I've been wanting the truck to feel for the longest time .

I tried running mid grade fuel on normal throttle and it seemed too dawgy to me or too relaxed . Slower all around. That premium fuel gives my truck the right amount of pep with the kdmax pro

Those with a MT on KDMAX tune, is it worth it? I know the auto guys swear by it, but is the difference that drastic?

The manual tune has gotten great reviews. Here are a couple of guys running it.

Man what a difference! Thanks @McRib. Throttle response is night and day difference on the normal setting. On 33s truck has plenty of pick up and go with no lagging. This is how they should be from the factory! Can’t wait to get some miles on it now.

drastic isn't the word i would choose, but this is hands-down the best tune I've run which is a lot since tuning showed up on these trucks. I'm in a 2017 MT (04B14) on a tweaked version of KD Pro. i run a full custom open exhaust and solid motor mounts among other things, and that really brings the performance up. the tune is just about perfect for the truck.

Tuned by @cemented this morning. Feels cliche to say, but it totally transformed the truck. That lethargic feeling most of us complain about in the lower RPMs is now gone. Went in thinking I’d settle on the normal throttle but started with the sport and had no desire to try something else.

I went with the KD-Max Pro. Truck’s an automatic and mostly stock build aside from the slightly larger 265/75R16 tire size.

I'm taking my gf out to Yellowstone this year too. Her 1st time but not mine. I talked her into not taking the camper either. Tent camping woot! Can't wait to see how mine does. I haven't been out west since I loaded KDMax earlier this year.

Been driving on the new KD-Max Pro since its release. Originally went with the sport throttle, but it was just too much low end for the winter roads of Wyoming. I reflashed to the lite throttle it is absolutely perfect even in those 2ft+ days we have had the past week. 10/10 mod worth every penny.
