What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Your new cooler is a straight pass through with no temp control valve or whatever its called? What model cooler did you install?

Finally found a set of AlphaRex tail lights in stock after… a while.

Taking a break from the Bussmann wiring (need 10 ga. wire, and fuses) and looking over the dash harness and what I need to buy.

 

Here's a small tip.
When your checking a wire harness with a multi-meter, make sure the multi-meter is on.

Checked the new 2014 dash harness against my 2012 EWD and there is one wire I need to move. It's in a connector and I need to remove it and it goes right to the ECM.

 

Ordered some Deaver Exped Stage 3s the other day from @HeadStrong Off-Road. They had them in stock which I wasn’t expecting. I was getting ready for some mid spring upgrades so I guess now I am doing some frozen knuckle mid-January upgrades…

Checked in with Dynatrac on a D60 axle assembly and due to supply chain stuff they are looking at possible 6 month lead time as opposed to the 6 week* lead time from a year ago

 

Got my 12-15 mirrors installed and wired. The signals don't work but I have a lead that it might be a bad ground. They still look good and I gained a folding mirror feature so that's nice.

 

so will this get rid of the squeaks that i have all around my truck from the movement?

i get these squeaks from my doors that are super annoying. they aren't loud but to me, i notice everything. the doors will squeak with movement of the cab, but if i pull the door even tighter while driving, it goes away.
i did apply regular wax to the inside of the doors and that didn't help. maybe i should try the silicone spray.

Did front, rear differential and transfer case

$29 75w-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)

75w-90 fluids today, 2014 DCSB with 60k. Also did the wife's RAV4 rear diff and transfer case.
Synthetic out and in on both rigs. 30k did nothing to discolor these except the diff on the 2014 Tacoma... which, still looked acceptable.

Got some white ones! Shipping took forever and it was a good chunk of what I paid for the mirrors themselves but I'm stoked. They look awesome, and honestly the only reason I bought them is because I've never personally seen a 2005-20011 tacoma with the 12-15 sport mirrors

 

Nice. Ya, shipping is outrageous right now. Did you have any trouble fitting the arms in? I heard people had to do some cutting with 4runner mirrors.

 

Nope, it fit perfectly, since it's a tacoma mirror. I would have loved to have the 4runner mirrors, puddle lights, heated mirror, and turn signal? That sounds awesome but I read the thread on it and it was more work than I wanted to do for mirrors
