My 2019 SR only has the outside door lock on the driver's side door. The tumblers in the keyhole have been freezing solid. I have been spraying my key with rubbing alcohol then putting it in the keyhole and repeating 5 to 8 times till the tumblers unfreeze.

My question is, Is anyone else having these issues on their SR model Tacoma?
And what else can I use to help the issue. Last time after the weather warmed up I squirted some silicone spray in the lock. Thought I would be good to go but this morning the lock was froze again. :(

Thanks for all the replies. Went into Walmart and found a can of Lock De-Icer to try the next time the lock is froze.

Buy a can of fluid film. Use the red straw. Blast it in the lock when its not frozen. Do that at every oil change along with spraying the gas door hinge and door and tailgate hinges and you will never have a problem.

Thanks! I added this to my Amazon wish list in case the stuff I bought at Walmart don't work. Before I went to Walmart I saw the below on Amazon and thought if I saw it at Walmart I would buy a can. Our Walmart don't carry the WD "Specialist" line so I got the Lock De-icer.
