    Help!
I have a 2021 SR5 with 4400 miles on it. I just got done wiring up a winch, and light bar after putting on a new bumper. I grounded out the light bar and winch next to the battery. After testing the winch my truck threw a P0598 code. I undid my wiring and in the process blew something. Now my truck will not start. It will crank over but that is it. Brake is also stiff as a rock.

I have alpharex headlights/tacomabeast taillights and have read that these can cause the brake override malfunction by blowing fuses. I haven’t seen anyones posts involving all of these different malfunctions. Truck won’t start for shit and my dash is a Christmas tree!

Update: main cause was EFI NO.1 relay for not starting. The rest of the malfunctions were results of the truck not starting in general. Once that relay and a few back up fuses were replaced, truck started and is running again.

Check all fuses and disconnect all aftermarket accessories. While you're at it, read the codes, even if they may clear after doing the above. Until then, can't provide much further direction.

Pulled all of the fuses, none were blown. I tried hooking my scanner up to the truck and after awhile it starts to read KWP2000 ISO9141, then after that it says link error and starts reading the truck again. Not sure what to do. Guess it’s going to the dealership.
