Hey all, my dad finally bought a Tundra that he'll be plowing the driveway with, he's been looking for one forever. I'm a 4Runner guy but wanted to ask for advice from the experts.
It's a 2005 Double Cab and he wants to give it a moderate lift, especially adding some HD suspension to the front to counteract the heavy plow. I'm steering him towards Bilstein 5100s or OMEs, he doesn't need anything fancy.
I can't seem to find any regular ol 5100s that come with an aftermarket (Eibach) coil already installed. And no, he wouldn't want to spend the money on 6112s. Are the adjustable 5100s really only meant to be used with the stock OEM spring?
Also, what add-a-leafs is everyone rocking? He has a dedicated work truck (which is a Tacoma so I'm sure he'll use the Tundra for big loads once in awhile) but doesn't want any kind of Cali lean.
    Thanks in advance!
