Can anyone point me to an install thread for installing a kicker hideaway in a 2nd Gen double cab? I’ve seen lots of threads for 3rd gens or 2nd gen access cabs but nothing really for 2nd gen dbl cabs. Look to confirm it will fit under the passenger seat and wire routing ideas to get to the battery/HU cleanly.

I’m also open to mounting behind the rear seat but eyeballing it it looks like the only clean way to do it is to either remove the factory storage box.

    ideas/suggestions?

Basically all of the 3rd gen threads will apply to the 2nd gen. Extremely similar

FWIW, I found you can gain a 1/2” under the pass seat. At the back, under the seat, there’s a bar that goes across. Pull the seat, take out the 2 screws on either side. Flip the bar up, reinstall the screws. Lose no functionality, gain some space. Win, win!
