Very rarely have I gotten thru the 84 onto mass pike area easily, you have to time it, or drive a different way.

It's definitely hit or miss, especially in the Hartford area. OTOH, I-95 is frequently a train wreck, especially in the I-91/I-95 interchange area. Although it's a lot better than it was in the mid 2000s when my son moved to NJ and we'd drive down there every month or so to visit. That's when I started taking the Mass Pike out to I-84, then down to I-91 to the Merritt/Wilbur Cross.

Yeah, timing is everything in that drive. I've gotten lucky the last few trips but I'll happily take 90 to the TSP and add maybe 40 minutes to my drive than deal with Hartford going in/ the construction coming back. Plus it's way prettier than 84 :D

It's a nice drive, just have to make sure you have enough fuel to do it

    Way to start a day.
I woke this morning with no cold water in my shower. Took a sick day and shut down the house water and took the cold valve apart.
I found a broken plastic part I took it to Lowes to find a replacement. Nothin close to it. I asked the guy working the aisle he said try the Granite group.
Now Lowes is 8 miles from my house and the Granite group plumbing supply is about a 1/4 mile from me.
So I walk into Granite showed them the piece I needed and all the other plumbers in there and they just kind of had a good laugh at me.
It's a three-Handel facet that they haven't been made for years, come to find out.
They helped me track a supply on of all sites Amazon, it should be here Thursday.
In the meantime, I'm using some channel locks.

:notsure: I put in the maintenance ticket for it, and apparently a week ago our maintenance team went up on the roof said no we can't do it and then it was just kind of ignored instead of hiring an outside company to handle it.

That just in the office? My area of the shop has no heat currently hooked up due to moving machines around and needing to pull the duct work down. The area stays at 72-74° with the double bay doors open slightly

In one or the sections of the office area. It's funny - quality office had the heat broken and nobody cares. Once customer service gets cold now people care. This ain't shenanigans that's an OSHA violation. Ish. There's no legal upper or lower limit but they have to keep it "comfortable" and I think 41 is safe to say - not comfortable.

Will update when I get in this morning to see where we're at. My desk is on the shop floor it was nice and warm yesterday.

If you didn't have heat last night, I'm guessing the office is in the 20's this morning. It was freakin cold last night!

That sounds terrible! I'd bring a space heater and set it up in a conference room so people would stay the hell away from my desk all day.

Lost heat here at the new job as well. Only in engineering office though. Was supposedly 50 at the thermostat but definitely colder at my desk which is against an outside wall and has a draft :D

Update: was still at 41 this morning, so we found a stable temp I guess. And we brought in someone to fix it.

We're currently at sunny 37° so, that's a help I guess. Waiting for rain to clear off some of the salt on the roads. It's nasty out there. I can feel my frame disintegrating without fluid film this year :'(
