Hey everyone! Having a bit of an issue with my 2015 Tacoma. Recently, the steering wheel controls have gone kind of wonky. They work (some of the time), but when they don't, they require long presses for any sort of input to work. They're not hard to press, it feels completely normal, but I have to press and hold the button for say 5 seconds for anything to actually happen. Then seemingly at random it goes back to its normal operation. I do have an aftermarket Dasaita head unit in the truck. But the unit has been in there for 10 months. The issue started about 2 weeks ago. I bought some contact cleaner with the thought maybe the contacts for the buttons got some garbage on them from when I was cleaning my interior? Was wondering if anyone else had any ideas. Thanks everyone.

That's actually a good question, I haven't even checked that. I'll take a look at it when I'm driving it tomorrow morning.

Horn works fine whilst the issue is occurring. So I guess it isn’t the clock spring? Im beginning to think it might be the head unit. Started acting funny a few days ago. I’m going to put the original back in I guess and go from there. If anyone else has any other ideas it would be appreciated.
