Did you use regular hard wire or some sort of hard face for longer wear ?

Not sure how you feel about it, but that sounds like a can of worms to me.

 

My ex wife's grandfather ate 2 eggs and 3 slices of bacon with toast slathered with butter for breakfast most every morning. Lived to be 100 years old. I liked the guy. Ask him how you doing Clyde? His reply, "tired". That was at 98 years old.

 

I have to get back in the shop. They putting lots of work in front of me. And the most recent thing is this micro managing of the schedule.
The new guy is gone all week, down to Louisiana for a conference. I'm happy for him to get a boondoggle so early on...

Coworker been out since before Christmas and we were covered up then.

He gonna have to hire someone or farm some work out. I can’t do but so much.

This is when mistakes happen you bounce from job to job and lose track of just what was done.

Either that or you push yourself to the point your exhausted then get hurt or sick then the Boss man is really up the creek

A place I bought parts from the owner did the same thing to his shop guy had him jumping from job to job lug nuts hand tight only oil drained new filter no oil stupid mistakes

Honestly? Not too bothered by it. If it was a 'straighten', I would be concerned, but a full frame replacement is pretty much a nuts and bolts job, and let's face it... what vehicle has more data points on frame replacements than Tacoma???? :lol:

How should I go about making the frame? I'm thinking of 4x4 legs with 2x4 braces between them. One desk will have a keyboard style drawer I'll add later so I'll box the underside of it. Thoughts?

4x4 legs braced like you mentioned but maybe a 2x6 frame at the top of 4x4's ? You could notch the 2x6 where the keyboard slide would go. Could use L- brackets to attach the top? Be heavy duty.
Anymore those put together particle board desk are cheap. Or even shop second hand stores for good deals, for other options.

 

I get home from work today and see a box from Rock Auto on my desk in the garage....I'm thinking what I order recently from Rock Auto. I figured it out or guessed, before I got it open....I bet my look was like little Ralphie on Christmas day when he got his Red Ryder BB Gun! Thank you @RustyGreen !
