I’ll try this (because I’ve flunked search function class for the day) does anyone have a diagram for the instrument panel that maybe shows the size of the screws?

I’ve found interior instrument panel diagrams that show me the name of the big pieces (the screws I need are for the lower column under the steering wheel) but nothing that can give me the correct sizes for the 3 screws / bolts!

I like Line-X it's seriously tough and I love the look. Did both steel bumpers in it. My bumpers don't take much abuse though.

For sliders and armor I'm torn - I can see where something smooth like powder coat over steel would not grab when sliding over rocks. Just a thought - in application not sure it really matters.

Do it yourself bedliner is easy to patch/repair. I'm leaning towards this for armor when it arrives.

I don't know how well Line-X holds up rubbing on rocks with the trucks full weight on it. Would be cool to know.

I wouldn't do a bedliner as it's not as easy to touch up when you need to do it. I would consider a product like steel-it, I'veused it on my skid plates. My sliders came powder coated, but if I ever re spray it will be with steel-it.

I had my BillieBar support brackets and ditch light brackets done with Line-X. Powder coating just doesn't last long in Ontario winters due to excessively salted roads.

I had a similar question that was answered on a youtube video from a car install company, basically the lock/unlock lighttimer settings ect. Expensive little unit, but I plan on driving this truck into my 40s (currently 32) so I wanted a good screen that would last..hopefully.

If it had factory carplay I never would have touched it. But the remote idatastart remtoe start+ drone mobile was SUPER easy to install. As was replacing all of the factory speakers, just kind of tedious.

I have 4x mounted on my BillieBars so I can see when I am unloading my bikes at night. I also installed 4x inside my cargo carrier.

I've actually put flex seal on some metal dumbells I have. It's held up pretty well after them being banged around. It's not really It's intent to be used like that but it worked better than spray paint

As I was driving home yesterday, I heard a weird clatter from the engine and when I got to my parking spot the oil light popped on.

Shut the truck off, popped the hood, and there was oil everywhere :( I had to put 4.5qts in to get it back to full on the dipstick… a quick check under the truck didn’t reveal any extra ventilation in the block so after I put oil in I started it to try to find the leak. Best I can tell I’ve either got a crack or hole in the oil pressure sensor on the filter/cooler housing, or that’s where it’s pooling and getting blown around by the fan when it’s running.

Gonna have it towed to a local shop and hope it’s just the sensor and not the timing cover, and hope a bearing didn’t go. :fingerscrossed:

Now It Looks GOOD! Much Better Looking Softopper on the Toyota Now! All Smoothed Out and Done! Better pictures and not all Wrinkled. Did notice after talking about the After Market Mud Flaps being OK well there NOT! I had to turn around on a narrow road with snow banks on the sides. Jammed the truck into them a couple times and see I busted one off next to the Exhaust Pipe!! So I will go with better one on the back and if the front ones do the same change them to. I was reading about them earlier here. Just drove to a better spot on my place for some pictures and not in the Garage Bay. Just priced those Rokblokz mud flaps and for $159.00 a set I will buy my own ABS and make my own like I did for my Boot Kicker and Challenger Side Skirts. Save around $500.00 on them making my own! Used this stuff a lot and it won't break off in the snow!

That is some dirty looking oil on the engine with fresh on top. Looks to me that it has been leaking for a while? Hope it has not been leaking for a long time! Is this a newer truck?

No oil spots anywhere that I can tell, so I don’t think it’s been leaking. Last time I looked under the hood was a month ago and all was fine. It’s new oil over old because I put oil back in the truck and ran it to find the leak. 2017 V6 with 86k miles

Best way is to pressure wash the engine and look close. I had a rock hit a oil filter on a Chevy pick up once and put a pin hole in it. On a Dodge Hemi I got a double gasket under a Oil Filter once and it blew out right away. I just see a lot of dirt and oil mix that looks to me like it has been leaking a while? Sensor, Gasket, Loose Oil Filter lot of little things it could be? 2017 & 87K to me is like a new engine and should look new still. I would think it is a gasket or loose oil filter. Bet it is a cheap fix!
