If their doing classes in college nowadays about smoking meats I'm going back to school, my wife bought me an electric smoker years ago and I've never used it.

 

I think it’s a cry for help.

 

You don't know what you've been missing

 

On one side of campus, they teach you how to raise the animals.

On the tasty side of campus, they teach you how to slaughter and prepare the animals. They do sell smoked turkeys for Thanksgiving for a fundraiser.

I haven't gone to one and I don't think they've done one for a while but we do have a "BBQ Bootcamp".

Canadian Wheat Board has an R&D outfit where they bake breads & such 24/7. Smell wafts into my air intakes after I S/D fans. The aroma of somethin I can’t have is overwhelming. Bet if the place went up for sale it would sell in a heartbeat.

 

Juicy mini chickens and a chunk of deer meat...

There's not much better than the smell of baking bread.

Which this new building will also do. It's like a one stop shop for awesome.

 

Gonna have to have these rechromed. Boss said they preheated them to 500°, welded them, then put them in a fiberglass blanket to slow cool. He said the welder told him after 6 hours you still couldn’t touch them with bare hands.



Then the boss came out and said someone messed up, there’s a mating flange that goes with these and the O.D. and one hole pattern is wrong, luckily it wasn’t our mistake it’s on their end. That just means they’ll be screaming that much harder for em

 

Gonna be a lot of fat people walking around campus, mostly of who work there

Falling behind on the thread. This plate fighting me a bit. Getting questioned how long ya gonna be etc.
Using some jack to get this plate dialed. Almost ready to make chips.

So... our jacobs 33BA chuck had way too much endplay, and our boss said he'd get us a new one for the milling machine. This is what he came back with. I don't even have a way to mount this in the machine.
