I looking for a new concealed carry 9mm. I’m mostly a revolver guy and also have a couple autos but I want a smaller 9mm auto and probably a red laser sight with it. Also I don’t want to break the bank so probably looking for something $800 or less. Suggestions?

I generally don't recommend a specific firearm when this is asked. If you have access to a gun store with a decent selection, I'd recommend going and handling as many as possible to see what feels best in your hand while going through the various motions. And even better, if you have access to a range/store, most rent a decent selection.

Having said that, I'm very happy with my Sig P365XL.

But I also carry a Commander size 1911 in 9mm.

I have an S&W Shield Plus. 10 and 13 round mags and made in America goodness. It goes bang every time and suits me fine.

Have one of those as well, the trigger was smoother in it than the Hellcat so the Hellcat recently got some new springs in it :D

Can't go wrong with the 365XL or the Shield Plus...

Lots of good guns out right now, if I were starting over or in the market for a small 9mm I'd look first at the Sig P365 (there are several models, I like the X), the Springfield Hellcat and the Shield Plus. I don't care about a laser, but my next carry gun will have a red dot.

Just to help you spend more of your money, you know you can get several revolvers in 9mm too. :boink:

I like my Mossberg MC1sc with night sights. Good pocket carry gun. If you want something with more capacity, take a look at the MC2sc.

I have a 4th gen Glock 19, no laser. Great carry gun, depending how big you'rr looking to go. I could conceal my Beretta M9A3 if I tried hard enough lol

I would 2nd that Kimber. I have a 3" Ultra Covert II .45 with Crimson Trace laser grips that is my primary EDC. I've got a Kimber Micro .380 Advocate in my pocket now. The Micro 9 is a great gun. It's basically a mini 1911 in 9mm.

All great suggestions. I have a couple autos a Springfield 1911 45, a little larger than I’m looking for for ccw, a Astra 9mm a small 9mm but I just don’t like it that much, just doesn’t feel good and a couple others. The guns mentioned so far sound like what I’m looking for. Keep the suggestions coming, I’m going this weekend to check out some of these.

43x w/ shield s15 mags is my current edc I’m really enjoying it.
For the mos version and holosun red dot you’d be under 800.

I prefer to be somewhere else if I'm in a high threat area.
