Look pretty beat up but the truck sits a but higher than stock I think so I'm trying to figure out if I can identify these.

I know I need to replace them but just don't want to end up with something that doesn't fit

the shock looks like a bilstein but that front coil looks bigger, could just be the picture. have your measured the distance between the center of your hub and the bottom of your fender? stock springs and no blocks in the back so no lift but you could have a leveling kit. any spacer sitting on top of the coil over?

OEM Billies - you can see the Toyota sticker on the bottom in the 2nd picture. It might have spacers installed which would explain the lift you see.

You should replace those given the amount of rust on them. Throw some 5100's in there while your at it and chuck the spacers

If those are OEM from 2006.....then they are due for replacement.

Truck sits high enough for me already I think so will probably go with the Bilsteins - should I be going with the 5100s or the 4600s?

Stick with the 5100's. Set them at the 2nd or 3rd perch.

Roger that! Just ordered from 4WP - now to see if they'll do the install for a reasonable price too!

prob will but make sure you double-check all of their work if you do go there. I wouldn't trust 4WP to touch anything on my truck. Myself and others way too may horror stories

Good to know - if anyone has a shop in socal they trust I'd take recommendations there too! the local shop I had it at could only get KYBs and I didn't want to replace these with KYBs if I'm going to go to the trouble I might as well get what I want
