Im really wanting to get some Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 265/17/r17 but I cant find them in stock anywhere. Local to me is central KY if that matters.

Placed my order on discount tire a couple of hours ago, they showed up as in-stock but then I got a text almost immediately saying they were unavailable (go figure lol).

Doug from Discount Tire reached out and said that theres no ETA for more stock, meaning it could be more than 60 days before they have them ready. But they do have 265/65/r17 ready to go....

Would I regret 265/65 instead of 265/70? Anyone know where I can find 265/70 in-stock? I've tried looking at tire discounters, tire rack, tire buyer, and some local places and havent had any luck.....

    Thanks!!!!

Dont get 265/65 it will look weird. The wheel will look tiny. Are you only considering 265/70? If you have 17" wheels I'm assuming you have a lift. In that case you have a lot more tire size options.

Try Big-O tire - they claim to have them in stock.

I just bought some Ray10 17x8.5, -10mm offset wheels and also just bought 885 OME coils w/ bilstein 5100s and Headstrong 3 leaf AAL, so it should give me like +1.5" all around. Truck is 2017 DCSB for reference.

So no i guess i havent really been entertaining anything bigger than 265/70, especially since im a poser and pretty much never go offroading so road noise/MPG/etc is a selling point for me.

I could go with Falken Wildpeaks, but like the look of the Nitto's much more and apparently some people have balancing issues on the Falken's.

There are much better tire options than Nitto in terms of quality and mileage. Hankook Dynapro ATM, Toyo open country, etc.

If you are worried about MPGs sell that lift before you install. That will hurt your MPGs more then tires and you can fit 265/70r17 tires on a stock height Tacoma.

Its a selling point for the tires specifically, i dont care enough to not want to lift the truck! i think 1.5" will be great for the look im going for

There is no magic AT tire that will get better gas mileage. Just find ones in stock in C or SL load range, most will weight around 40lbs and enjoy.
