My 2021 Tacoma had a auto headlight switch on dash panel that you had to turn on to activate the high beam on/off sensor. The 2022 SR5 has an auto setting on the headlight stalk but no switch for auto high beams switch on the dash. I couldn't find anything to show that auto headlights were standard on 2022 SR5.

the auto high beams button has moved to left of the steering wheel but I have auto on the light stalk and it appears to b true auto on off lights. Can't find anything in the brochure or literature about SR5 getting auto headlights.

Couldn't find anywhere in the 2022 Tacoma brochure or on line that my SR5 should have automatic headlights but it sure does. Apparently there is a special symbol that lights up on the dash when they are engaged that shows they can be controlled manually or automatic and its there. There is also an AUTO selection on the light stalk. This is a stock SR5 double cab V6 with just the Technology package and none of the packages provide this except premium and this truck is far from premium.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the auto on the stalk. The Tacoma has finally caught up to my 03 Chevy stripped down work truck.
