The painted thresholds on all doors on my 2012 have what looks like some kind of an adhesive plastic piece on the painted part(not the plastic cover)014.jpg . My 2014 PreRunner does not, & it's taller. The problem(beside the paint) is my dog's paws slip when wet. She crashed & burned once. Now is afraid to jump in. She has to use it, to get up to a platform I built over the jump seats. I don't want the heavy grit. Is there anything else out there?

You could cut and adhere your own pieces from a roll of this.

That looks like it would work! Some traction, but not sanded grit. The clear would be slippery. Boy, no wonder I wasn't getting any where Googling. Thanks, & my dog thanks you.
