Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

We have two other drill bit sharpeners. That particular one does a real good job at thinning the point on the wider angle bits. The kicker is about a year ago I printed off a 3/4" stack of instructions off the internet because manual was lost. Went to use the thing and it's got broken pieces and wheel looking like that!

 

This is a little later Might be October the barn is to the right of the cabin.

Same, I keep looking, knowing I want it, but would probably never use it enough to justify the cost.

 

Clearly, far more stupid than you should reasonably be able to stuff in to one head!!!!

 

It is a pity that being stupid isn't more painful...

 

We had a supplemental machinist in one outage and he was a always must be doing something kind of guy. Great help to say the least. Anyways he figured out how to use this drill sharpener but never got around to getting me up to speed. Dang it.
So yeah, when I go to give it a try one day that's what I find. Actually that machinist was in several outages but not last couple. Miss him. He's from Savanah Georgia area.

 

I chuckle and smile, because I think it's just cool that he likes the show. I did when I was a kid. Hopalong Cassidy too. Been ages.
Just seems like those western type shows are a little lost these days, at least my kids had no interest.
I just think even today it's fascinating to think about the way life used to be. Besides the fictional parts. I mean they still got their water from a well or creek, and rode a horse somewhere to get supplies.
I mean...at least I thought that part was true

 

I don’t know why he started watching it, he didn’t see me watching it. He loves it though. I’m glad he does!

 

One my kids did enjoy, just because I bought some of the first seasons on DVD for a road trip..Gilligan's Island.

 

I used to watch that when I was young. Good show!

 

Likely bc it was good TV to watch. We didn’t realize we had the cat by the ass back then. I was a big Bonanza fan too.

 

Good tv, that’s it. I’d rather my kids watch old shows than the garbage on these days

Well I decided on the Home Depot Countertop and I also put in a backup quote with a local countertop sawmill just in case the HD one is junk. Waiting to hear their price.
Ordered some of those legs off Amazon for it.

On some of my travels will see a really cool looking place, far from any major civilization lol...for lack of better words. Anyway it always get my wheels turning, wonder what they do for a living, rancher, or perhaps retired and just like the peace and quiet, simplicity of life, or
And when they need supplies? Get a truck load?
I don't knock it. Just one of those things make me think..
