I suck at this stuff so trying to figure this out and I have a illumination harness and asking for feedback.
Being that I have the ground already connected to the harness where should I put the ground from the light bar harness?

If you're using the supplied BD harness ground goes the battery. If you're not I can't help you since I don't have a Tacoma.

Hey — I manufacture that harness. You will take the ground wire from the Baja Designs harness and just put a piece of tape over it. It isn’t used. The red wire on the Baja designs harness I assume is connected to the battery. You will connect this wire to the green wire on my harness. The yellow wire on the Baja designs harness I assume goes to the relay to control your light bar. You will connect the yellow wire to the remaining red wire on my harness. Hope that helps — let me know if it works.

    Hello,
That’s pretty much what I did except I grounded the black wire.
I appreciate the follow and the harness made it easy for me.

Okay I just wired Baja Design S8 30” light bar to OEM switch. Switch came from Cali Raised but As long as it’s the same wired harness on the switch it doesn’t matter. This picture is for light bar only and switch only lights up when you turn switch on. The second red wire is to light half of the switch when key is on and you would have to wire it to a source that gets hot when ignition is turned on. The red wire is red1.

I ran the green wire from the second small switch on the light bar harness to injector fuse along with the raptor lights and those lights come on when key is turned on.

Reviving old thread, but a quick question:

Right now my light bar (with harness 640122) can be turned on while ignition is off, but I'd like to tap into somewhere else so it will only receive power when the ignition (or accessory) is on. Is there an easy way to modify it to make this work? (If you have a helpful answer, be very specific as this is foreign territory for me)

I'm sorry, can you please dummy up all this for me?
    I'm not seeing any columns...
Not sure what goes where.. how can I eliminate the 2 BD wire harness switches, use the Cali Raised switch, and still have the option to have the amber backlights on , preferably independent from the lightbar (full br8ghts) ?
