this is why you don't buy first model year.

Toyota's half a** response to this dude, buy a $60k truck, sorry parts are 30 days minimum tough luck pursue your states lemon law. Toyota in my opinion is going down hill, that is an unacceptable response.

Every auto company is having issues with parts. I waited 7 months to get OEM headlights for my 2nd gen. Again this is why you don’t buy the first year of a new model.

    Mostly dust and dirt.
Strange that this new motor immediately has serious issues. Did they do any tests?

It's a lexus engine, it's already been proven.

All cars have problems, it's just that you'll hear about the majority of them when they are popular and trending.

Remember Raptor frame damage from jumping? F350 fires? Similar.

I don’t know, so many fit and finish issues I’m seeing on the tundra forums and Facebook groups. I mean even the new 2022 Tacoma guys are complaining about finish issues. Not a good year for a new car let alone all new model.

I want to like the new tundra but just don’t think it’ll ever be as reliable as the last generation even after they work out these first year kinks. Toyota cheaped out on the 3rd gen Tacoma and it looks like they did the same with the tundra.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
fitments on par with every other toyota produced in the past 20 years... nothings perfect. but the stupid prices all cars are these days have people being more critical of them than ever.

the waste gate issue sucks. but its still a limited number of cars. no matter how much testing you do, till you get a bunch of them in the wild, you wont find all the issues. Remember the 5.7s in the 07 tundras had camshafts breaking. never buy a first or even second year model. you run the highest risk of issues, with supply chain issues, it will be worse than ever too.

if you want to go see horrid fitment, go look at any new tesla.

This was posted in the FB market. Local toyota dealership got a blue 1794 edition. Asking is $62K and some change.

About made me spit my coffee out at work. Edit: and it's only a 2WD.
