    One of the first knives i ever made. The client lost in on his property, found it a month later. Not in ideal condition. So i changed the profile, did some chemical coloring that will help protect it and added a new sheath. I have barely been in my shop because of a surgery i had, but this was a good way to get back in slowly.

    O 1 tool steel , burlap micarta, and a red g10 liner.
    For one of the first blades i made, it was pretty good. But as skills progress over 6/7 years, i couldnt not upgrade it.

    A guy I met through motorcycles, Chris Price, was on S4 E20 and S4 E21. His shop is the Tidewater Forge.

    I love watching that show with the exception it's a little too contrived at times. I mean the recipe is effectively any one of those cooking competitions. I'm sure all the contestants are capable so maybe a more "realistic" timeline and better editing :D

    Actually, more than half the contestants have no place being on the show in my opinion. But if everyone knew what they were doing, it wouldnt make good tv. My episode had a guy on it that had been making blades for like 6 months, and, lets just say he wasnt great at it. There also isnt alot of reality, on reality tv.
