I ended up getting mine on Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076TCM1SL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I ordered the M12X1.25X40mm. I went with these because I couldn't find this high strength grade locally.

If you have a local Fastenal, they can get you 10.9 bolts very easily.

    Source: I work for Fastenal.

    Great post.
I'll be adding a BPF Recovery Hook to my 2019 Tacoma SR5 in the near future.

I like it! I might do that, or a hitch, or bumper. Too many decisions...

I installed mine today. I have an ARB bullbar it also uses the 3rd hole that the BPF uses. I needed 3 of the bolts suggested by BPF and the nut from arb to attach. I also needed some extra flat washers to make up the difference that the bumper took on the 1 hole. 20190620_183106.jpg 20190620_183100.jpg

Sorry to resurrect and old thread, but I am making my own recovery point at the moment and want to ask if anyone who has used a BPF hook has had any issues with either the hook or the mounting point on the frame?
When researching recovery points I came across the ARB version. It not only uses the three points on that lower bumper frame bar, but it extends back and up and mounts to a beefier part of the frame as well.
I wonder if anyone has had issues with the three bolt bar bending or cracking? Otherwise why would ARB extend their mounting points farther back? But the stock Off-road recovery hook only mounts on two points not even three...

Side question... what is the purpose of the two “wings” that mount on the ends of the lower bumper bar? They don’t seem to do anything... I removed them..

Actually they are called the extension frame auxiliary crossmembers.

Mine has been on for a year. In that time I've used it only once to recover a jeep from a mud hole.

So far no issues with it.
