Wondered if there was such a thing, and if anyone has made the run.

Could be a super cool thing to do - go coast-to-coast via back-roads etc,
never hit pavement except for fuel/ water/ grub.

In terms of pavement, you could do the “old” Rt 66. Or give US 20 a shot.

But if you really mean no paved roads, good luck. Never heard of/seen such a route. I’m sure it could be (mostly) done with enough effort, but you’re talking a lengthy trip full of a ton of detours and private property.

Edit: Route exists, I was wrong.

I once went from connecticut to quebec all by back roads with my 73 datsun pickup....took me nearly 3 times longer.

    None.
In late June I flew to Roseburg, OR, bought a TRD OR and drove west to Port Orford before heading East. Five weeks later I arrived at Kitty Hawk, NC. I suggest this timeframe, going west-to-east as the western wildfire season is typically, not yet in full roar … and the snow in the Colorado Rockies will be mostly melted.

    Several groups on Facebook.

I’m very interested in doing this. Maybe we could get a big group ride planned for the future

I'm retired, got nothing to do, except I'm a house-boy for the wife. She works and I keep the pets up, keep the cars
gassed, sweep / vac / mop / shop / and I've become her personal chef. Damn good cook too LOL. I need to win the
lottery so I can have all that taken care of and then do what I want to do.
