Just trying to math everything out before I buy anything and I'm thinking a 2in front level with a 1.5 rear level just might work

You don't need lift to clear larger tires until you get into MUCH larger tires than stock. Your clearance issues are fore/aft and with the UCA rather than with the fender. So lifting doesn't do anything to help you with clearance. Wheel offset, wheel width, tire width and alignment are what you should be looking into.

So could I achieve that with a 0 offset wheel?

With 33" 285's I don't think there's any way to make those clear without trimming something. That's what my truck came with when I bought it and it still rubbed even after the previous owner trimmed the mudflaps and cut the bumper. Pretty sure they were 17x8 +0 wheels too.

it matters a lot on the rims that you are running.

i had 265-70-16 with 2 inch spacers and they rubbed.

now i have bigger tires 265-70-17 with new rims and they dont rub.

but most likely you will have to do a cmc. and cut some of the fender liners.

Any suggestions for max size without cutting I could accomplish with a 2in leveling kit and +0 wheels?

This is the most popular question probably ever asked on this forum. Lots of info here you can search for to find answers. Start here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/largest-tacoma-tire-sizes-on-stock-suspension.67550/

265/70/17, 265/75/16 or 265/65/18, depending on what size wheels you have (there are some "skinny" tires that are slightly bigger but no guarantees they won't rub)

Adding lift doesn't magically give you tire clearance. It might help you not rub when you cruise to the mall on flat roads but that's it. I have 265/70/17 and they have a teeny bit of rub when I go up my driveway so imagine what they do when fully stuffed offroad. Mostly problems happen at full steering lock or full suspension "stuff" on the uptravel. Common solutions are doing a cab mount chop (CMC), hammering pinch weld, and cutting/reshaping/removing the inner fender liners. How far you go down the rabbit hole depends on what you really want to accomplish.

Good luck and Welcome to Tacoma World!

A lift has nothing to do with the size tire you can run because it doesn't change the size of the wheel well. I run 0 offset wheel and rubbed without a CMC, hammering the pinch weld flat, trimming fender flares and liners, and the mud flaps came off a long time ago. I still rub the fender flare at the top of the wheel well and the fender liner above the cab mount when the tire is stuffed.
