Did so much research this past week trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my Tacoma, how I wanted it to sit and how to achieve that look. This site was a big help to me. Just thought I’d post a before/after pic with details to maybe help some others out!

I took the wheels and tires off of my previous Tacoma. They are 285/75/16. They rubbed pretty bad but I didn’t want to cut anything until I leveled it out. I’m glad I didn’t, because I now have a 2” leveling kit on the front and no rubbing whatsoever! Other than that this truck is completely stock, and I like how it sits! Also seems to drive well still, maybe just slightly more stiff feeling in the front but nothing drastic. Here’s the before and after:

    None so far
So is this just 2" on the front only? Looking to see what I want to do with mine, that I just got and I like how this sits.

Which leveling kit did you get? Did you install it yourself? I am looking to level out my 2022 extended bed and maybe add a conservative lift without doing anything drastic that might change how it drives too much. This seems like a good option for me to look into.

I rub with 32s and 2" of lift. I wonder what the difference is that you're not getting any rubbing.

Did putting the 2 inch leveling kit max out the ball joints on your UCAs? Or is there still some play left there?

Looks good! Notice any needle bearing humming/vibrations? Just did a 2/1 level myself (temporary) and am getting some vibration issues that go away with 4wd, so ecgs bushing here I come .

No one answered this, but it's probably your wheel offset that's causing the rubbing. I went with 4Runner Pro wheels because of this and I'm not rubbing at all on 32s (although mine are skinnier 255/75/17s) on stock suspension. My stock 21 Sport wheels were +30 offset and the 4Runner Pro wheels are a +4, so they set the tire farther out. My guess is that Toyota designs the Pro wheels to sit farther out to give a wider "off-road" stance while still putting the same stock size tires on for mileage/weight/etc reasons.
