The facility I'm in just deals with boxes. Gets unloaded, thrown on the belt, automated sorter, then either into another truck to another hub or down to local city for delivery. There's talks of a new sub building being built and if so I'm applying for that one!

I did 40 years hard labor at UPS.

 

Coulda applied for early release.

 

Till it breaks I saw this 15 plus years ago I am not sure if it was a prototype system A grocery Warehouse. in the Baltimore / DC area

At that time the only human labor but maintenance were the fork lift drivers though by now that might be robots as well.

 

The people on the trailer side Have it made compared to the package side

 

Had to have that full pension . I retired after I had my years in and I won some in the lottery.
