So I was working on my 2021 TRD Pro, and I noticed today there is paint over the brand name of the springs. Attaching a picture for reference. Any other pro owners see this? Its super janky in my opinion. The other side has white paint...

I don’t think it comes like that. A kid was having fun. Is it a marker or an actual paint?

It’s to quickly differentiate the FR and FL for the people installing on the line. Fox Pro is side specific. Black for driver, white for passenger.. or other way around, I forget. Normal.

I am going to take some acetone to it tomorrow and see if I can clean it off. I saw some other images and I think its supposed to say TRD, but at first glance the word was longer than that... My truck is 3 months old, never been to the shop except for tires (and I was there the entire time :).

Some of you guys spend too much time scrutinizing your truck. Even the stock springs have different color indicator marks installed.

yep, I have the white and black markers on mine too. Like people said, markers for assembly and inspection on the line.

No markings on my 2019 takeoffs. Maybe assembly monkeys kept messing up the side so much that the management finally decided to mark them?
