    Hello,
I am a returning Tacoma owner having owned a 2007 back in 2007-2009, then went in to a Tundra for about 3 years after that, then to SUV's ever since. I have been wanting a midsize truck again for a while and decided on a Tacoma again as I always liked the 2 Gen.

This past Saturday, I purchased a 2013 Silver Sky Metallic. Both ext & int are in good shape for the age. The only ext item I need to address is the cracked clear film protector. by the rear fenders. Not sure how to remove and replace, but I am sure this site will guide me.

Other change are the wheels. It currently has XD Series 16" wheels, 265/70/16 and I plan to replace these with what I believe are referred to as the Texas Edition/TSS Edition 17". Based on what I read, I believe I can install the 17's with 265/70/17 on my truck with no issues such as rubbing. If I am wrong, please correct me.

    Other changes will be:
    color match grill
    new headlights
    add fog lights

    Thanks,

    Thanks Squirt.

I found a set of the 17" TX Edition wheels with BFG TKO tires, appear to be in great condition. Seller states tires only have 15k miles. He's asking $1200 for the set. Seems high, but not sure.

Another seller is asking $500 for rims only. I figure once I buy new tires, I will probably be back at $1200 anyway. I'll continue my search for a bit longer.

As to the fog lights, my truck doesn't have fogs now but I read that most the trucks are pre-wired so hoping mine is. I will check out the DD site for their fogs as well as TRS site for LED fogs.

Thanks. Even though I really like the TX Edition rims, I decided to keep the ones on the truck for now.

    I appreciate the responses
