    Yeah
I just installed the $25 knockoff ones from aliexpress on the front only. Love them. Longest drive I’ve made is a 6hr round trip wheeling (so other than the drive to/from I was in and out a lot) but it really improved comfort. I’m 6’1 215# btw.
Already ordered a set for the passenger side.

5' 10" and I couldn't drive an hour without having to get out and stretch. Installed seat jackers on drivers seat only. Just drove 3 hours without any issues. Every body type is different, but for me they are fantastic. Buying for the passenger seat to share the love.

I have the Desert Does It fronts. I’m 6’1 / 200# / 34 inch inseam. They work well with the power adjustable seat in my Off Road and definitely improve thigh support.

The only issue I have is I also have Wet Okole seat covers which add about 1/2 inch of seat height themselves, so the lack of steering wheel adjustment becomes a problem.

I’m debating looking for a local machinist to shave down my seat jackers by maybe a 1/4 inch.

I considered back of seat jackers since I like the back of my seat more toward upright than some and already feel like my butt is being wedged down into the crack of the seat and most of the pressure on my legs is at the front of the seat. Haven’t bought them yet.

I have a theory that those who need front of seat jackers have fat asses and lean the back of the seats way back am I right? lol

I have long legs and there is zero thigh support, would want the front raised. Honestly the seat currently feels like a kids sliding board.

I have fairly long legs, 34L pants and want the back raised. Perhaps the difference lies in our seat back positions. Who knows.

I am a fairly big ass guy and have had problems all my life with car seat backs not being upright enough. I cannot sit in a partially reclined position without discomfort and shortly following, pain. A good bad example would be Chrysler bucket seats up until the 1990's, the full upright position seemed to be 1 click reclined compared to other makes. The earlier ones (70's) also offered no thigh support.

With this in mind the goal of my first test drive was to see if the seat hurt my back, I overlooked the complete lack of thigh support as it hadn't been an issue for me since those old Chrysler cars of long ago.

Frankly, I find it kind of a silly oversight on the part of Toyota, I realize that vehicle manufacture is full of compromises, the well discussed economy oriented auto transmission shift map for example. However, designing a seat that should be comfortable for a common 5'11" guy with a 30" inseam shouldn't be so difficult.

Agree it needs improvement and while they’re at it make the steering wheel adjustment be more than a 1 inch pull out lol.

My boney butt would get sore on some long 4-5 hour drives so I bought this from Amazon and it helped a lot. I also use it on my office chair, much more comfortable now.

    Agree!
There are a great deal of things I really like about these trucks, the exterior is spot on from any angle, the interior and dashboard has a nice blend of sport, understatement and easy function, they had some great colors, my Sport suspension is a hoot to drive too.

It just seems like "the guy" if you will, who was in charge of the seat/steering wheel area just didn't give it much effort -- maybe this was the last thing designed on a Friday afternoon. I know TW can make a mountain out of a rock pile in a hot minute -- still, I am of pretty average proportions and we hear this from many new members so I don't think it is a case of following the leader like raptor lights.

There are six vehicles in my driveway from 1966 to 2017, it is absolutely ridiculous to me that the newest and most expensive should be the only one I needed to modify the seat so I could drive comfortably for more than an hour.

I'm routing mine under the passenger seat, hopefully. But I dropped a frito chip down there the other day and tried to fish it out when I was finally stopped for the day... nope. Even removing the all weathers in the back there was not enough space to get my hand under there in the spot it was lodged in. I hate eating in my truck, but on days where I do nothing but drive, I can't help it. Only problem is I already sit so high up I think the seat jackers wouldn't be a good idea.

But I always wondered what the point of these things were. Seeing your post seems reasonable, but out of curiosity, do most people who get them not have the power seat option? Or is it still just not enough? I'm 6' 4" on a good day ;)

You know what else I noticed? This windshield is by far the easiest to clean I've ever owned. From the inside... I've had vehicles where you might as well be a contortionists if you want a streak free windshield. The Tacoma is so easy to reach as well as nice and open... no spots I have to cover my watch up to avoid scratching the dash, or get some tiny tool to get to the corners. I watched a ChrisFix video where he mentioned using almost a backhand style to get in the corners and that's what I did on my previous vehicle. This one, super simple. I love it. Totally agree with you though. The only thing I want to do is protect it from stains.

6'1 here. I have the power seat option in my 20, and for the life of me I couldn't get comfortable. My legs would go numb on long drives. Its the only vehicle this has ever happened in, so out of desperation I ordered the seat jackers. It helped quite a bit with that. As I mentioned, I was able to fit an amp underneath the seat at stock height, but it provides much more room now. Fritos won't stand a chance of hiding under there after this mod...

Also interested if anyone AIWB's with them? Any difference in comfort? That's the main reason I sit so tall.

But you didn't know it was such a bother until TW invented a solution. To that and every other issue.... it's the TW ecosystem.

To a certain extent that's true. However in my case, seats were driving me crazy, and I googled "how to make tacoma seats more comfortable" Very first thing that comes up is TW & seat jacker thread. Problem solved

Now about the frame supports cracking, or the ECGS bushing to eliminate vibrations, or...it just goes on and on
