Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

FTFY. I don't get it any time, anywhere...

 

It's ridiculous.

 

With the melted snow from yesterday, that's all we're doing now.

 

From a few days ago. Had to be done.

 

I can feel the crunchiness of that jacket and I don't like it

 

Hah, I see that so frequently where I work. Not particularly in my department, but the handlers. They'll spend 5-10 minutes on their hair, or the like. It's like guy, you need to unload boxes, not try and pick up women. Probably a good thing they're not allowed having phones. They get mad at us because we are Alot of the "kids" are moving out of the bigger city and moving to the area. Turning the damn town into Baltimore Lite, that's all I'm gonna say...

Yeah, looks like we might just need thicker blankets to cover the tomatoes. Corn could be in peril too.

 

It wasn't as bad as the snow that blew down the jacket onto my throat. That was downright chilly.

 

My wife said she heated something in the microwave for 2 minutes yesterday at the store, turned it on and walked away. After doing something started looking for the spoon. Got another one, went to the microwave and it was in the bowl

I unfortunately am not holding out much hope for the younger generation that is coming into the work force. Gotta remember that these are the kids eating tide pods not too long ago.

 

Gotta wonder who it was that raised "these kids these days"...

 

Boss came in, I said I been thinking about something. Why don't you see if Paul would want to help us out 2-3 days a week running the lathe? He sold his shop several years ago. Boss said I don't know if he'd want to or not. I said you won't know if you don't ask, it's better than just me out here in the shop

 

Man, you folks have to be tough ... I like to poke fun at you but seriously, damn.

 

It’s kinda like an outlook on life. I drive it like I stole it. Which actually…..I have.

 

When that was all the rage I talked to my kids about it. Both of them said "Why would you do that? That's stupid." Hopefully they stay like that.

 

You say tough.

I say deranged.

It does take a different kind of person to go from 90's in the summer to windchills of -50 six months later and back again, I suppose. The older I get, the more I understand why people move to Arizona or Florida. Or in my mom's case, Georgia.
