Found lots of info on these tires a few years back in C-Load, however, looks like C-rated version has been discontinued in 265/75/16. The walmart near me is carrying the E-rated version for $164/tire and i'm very tempted to try them out - i'm still running the stock goodyears but have been eyeing a more aggressive tire to help on some hunting backroads. Will my mileage really be hurt that bad / will the on-road ride be unbearable with E-rated tires?

I wrote the original review on the C-load all those years ago. They were a fantastic tire, and I still toy with the idea of using them again. That being said, I doubt you would notice too much of a difference between the C and E load tires as far as fuel economy. Ride quality would be easily adjusted by experimenting with air pressure.
