I replaced the 4WD actuator on my truck trying to fix some four wheel drive issues. Since then I have tried twice to reseal it because of a oil drip coming from it. I have also had a Toyota specialty shop try to reseal it twice with no luck. Time for a new one? I have tried letting it sit for 24 hours with filling back up and getting specific differential gasket maker with no luck.

    Thanks

I've replaced probably 50 and never had this happen.

I would try to shave the dowel pins and scratch it up with coarse sand paper.

Sometimes dowel pins can cause a slight clearance issue.

Orange sealant for gear oil from Toyota and its good.

Ok, shave down down the pins come off the differential? I assuming sand the differential surface down will help the gasket makers seal?
