Backwoods Adventure Mods bumper

Hey guys I just finished installing the backwoods adventure mods bumper and I love it. It has a steel winch cradle and aluminum outer shell so it’s 2 pieces which was nice for me since I did the install by myself it made adjusting the bumper easy. Overall looks and weight I’m super happy the bumper comes in at 84 pounds.

nice bumper. Is it possible to adjust the height of the bumper to make it flush to the lower plastic under the headlight? Thanks

 

A gap is usually left so it does not rub or damage the body.fyi

 

Yeah, I now there's a gap. Currently my bumper is cut for another steel bumper. It looks like from the install on backwoods website the cut is lower than mine is. I'm asking if the bumper can be adjust to reduce the gap that might be too much for my current cut.

 

look like it could be tilted up not sure if thats a solution though

Hey following up. How strong/sturdy does it look? For aluminum is there enough support plates inside the bumper for structure, like does it look strong enough to deflect a deer strike?

I think I may order one, looks amazing and I want to keep my front end light. I only have 2.0 shocks and 650 lbs springs.
