Just here to cry a bit

Installing a halo9 into my tacoma. Got everything hooked up, did test startup, everything works lovely.

Unhook everything, put the dash back together, do some yoga to reinstall the display. While reinstalling the "power plate" I nicked the ribbon cable as shown below


Everything is not ok now. not ok at all.

So QQ im dying inside and i hope crutchfield loves me.

Just got off the phone with CF and they are replacing no questions asked. Gotta be honest im relieved.

 

One year later, how are you enjoying the Halo9? Do you use Android Auto or Apple CarPlay?

 

Curious as well. I swapped out speakers but waited on head unit.
