I bought a cheap one from Harbor freight when I was 17, I hacked up my last truck with it, used it on some house work, and now my dad has it and uses it for who knows what! you can beat a $25 dollar saw!
    just get some quality blades

I had a vintage DeWalt and the blade set screw stripped out. Now the saw is junk. I just bought a new Rigid single hand recip. and it will tear you a new ass. I Love it.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
did you throw it out? Search "dewalt service net" . You should be able to get parts for it.

Milwaukee if your using it commercially and can justify the cost. If you are buying from Home Depot compare the model number from Home Depot compared to Harbor Freight or another tool distributor. Often times the box stores have models made just for them that do not match the quality of the same looking model sold other stores.
