yea, thatd be great. Id preferably like to buy just a muffler and save some cash as opposed to buying a catback. But I do want something that sounds good!

The Gibson is $400 or so for the top end, stainless steal. 350 or so for the other. Not too bad considering the others are up to 600 and above. Plus you get the tip, muffler, madrel (spelling) bent pipes, etc. Go to the website, put in your make, model, so on and they'll tell you what you need. Full system, catback. Like I said, that's the only thing I know because that's what I had.

Doesnt sound too bad at all. I found a gibson exhaust on ebay for around $350. My question is, how hard is something like that to put on? Does it require any welding?

^ The Gibson requires no welding. It bolts on in place of the stock exhaust. You could do it yourself and not pay for labor. I got a truck place to put mine on because it was dual and I wasn't familiar enough to do it. Install is pretty easy. They are quality systems. I had mine on that chevy for years. Never any problems. Sounded great. Anyway, no welding. I was looking to, for you year model, they may have other options. Just hit the website up. :typing:

I have tried several different brands and I have settled on the MagnaFlow muffler for my vehicles.

2K, I wonder why they don't make a system for '09 and up yet? I was looking for something different for my tacoma (even thought I am strongly considering Gibson) and I saw you mention Cherry Bomb. I looked and the latest model fit they have is the '08. Do you have any experience with them as far as when they come out with new stuff by any chance. They are priced very well. Some systems as low as $299 or so but I have a 2009. Too bad I guess...unless they come out with something soon. I mean it's already 2011. You'd thnk they'd have it.

flowmasters sound to ricey on these things. i kinda like the magnaflow but i really want an exhaust that just gives a slight throaty tone. wanna avoid sound tickets and exhaust drone down the highway. any sugestions for a nice mild exhaust upgrade???

I had a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler with a custom tailpipe on my old S10 4.3. It was a little louder at idle but got louder when I punched it. I was very happy with it but sometimes I wished it was just as little bit louder. I have no idea what it would sound like on the 3.4 but I might consider something like that when the time comes.
