My first " stereo " came from S&H green stamps. Mom would get stamps for buying groceries and put them in a lil booklet and then you would go to the store and trade them in. I think the first album I got was Edgar Winter group. She gave me some strange looks when she heard that. I think her and my dad had every country legend you could name . I still have all those albums in my attic.

I woke up at 2:22 this morning and nature was calling, went to the bathroom then back to grab my phone to get the culprit on camera.

Goodmorning crew. I'm at the training center today. They changed some rules regarding on the job training and task performance evaluation. OJT/TPE
Anyway a few months ago, I told them hey, maybe we need to get a couple of guys qualified for reverse dial indicator alignment, then I wouldn't have to get the training again myself for the OJT/TPE???
    They just never listen, ever.:bananadead:

Was thinking about when grandfather and I would sit down at breakfast and listen to the radio after giving thanks for the blessings.
Anyway, don't remember who it was but there was more of a comedian that did, The Talking Chainsaw
About a feller worked at a pulp factory and wanted a drink but the place wouldn't serve him. So he goes out and fetches the chainsaw out the back of his truck....ultimately I think he got his drink.
    who was it?

I've had a few windshield problems.

Bought a 1974 CJ5 Jeep from a friend years ago, he bought it new and it had been sitting for a while. The windshield was cracked so I had a new one put in it. About 6 months later I went to get in it one day (still lived at home with my parents), it was sitting in a shed and there was a hole just above the steering wheel with glass on the hood. My dad was mowing and slung a rock through it from the back (it didn't have a top), he didn't even know it. I called my insurance and they ask was anybody hurt, I said luckily not cause nobody was in it.

Had a 1989 Mustang 5.0, looked brand new when I bought it from a lady, had it 3 days and got rear ended. Wound up having the whole car painted, it was black. It was sitting in the shed at my parents and dad had some lockers sitting beside it, somehow they fell and busted one of the side windows and scratched the new paint. I was hotttt but got over it. Sold that car to a friend a few months later, the alternator went out, caught fire and burnt the whole car up.

3rd one, my wife and I had a 2008 Yukon, she left the house one day and got 1/2 a mile and a dump truck went by in the other lane and a rock came off and busted the windshield. Called the insurance company, they sent someone to replace it. I think it cost us $100. She went to drive it that afternoon and the new windshield had a flaw in it right in the sight of the driver, it was like wearing bifocals with 20/20 vision. I called them and told them it wasn't going to work. They said we have to wait a week for the glue to dry and we'll replace it. That cost them more by not doing it right the 1st time.

Gonna tell you something and take it for what it’s worth. Many many years ago Chrysler had some big heavy doors and would sag. Bad pins, frame settling etc. I used a jack or a hammer and fulcrum the door and raise it up. Save the customer hundreds of dollars from the body shop.
Some were really sagged. When the car was old another scratch or dimple didn’t matter..

Growing up, 99% of my clothes that Mom didn't make herself came from good, old T. Eaton & Co (Albeit a slightly later edition than that one! )
