I used a 2 1/8 inch forester bit, a drill press, and lots of oil to lubricate the surface. I then sanded the arc with a rounded bit in the chuck covered in sand paper. I wanted to keep the plastic thingy because it looks important!

 

You did a great job , I just ripped mine out the tossed in the trash, one of mine was broken/smashed anyway, once I saw what they where for no reason for worrying.

 

I have a few updates for you all.

First all, I got material for thicker spacers. I am ready to ship some out. For those of you that are promised spacers my wife has the list, and I am working on getting them out soon. I know this took some time, but I am the type of person that has to explore every option before I made a decision.



wings… to the gentleman two posts up, you have inspired me. I made some changes to the wings. I have verified fitment on the 2wd, but not the 4x4 yet. If you have a 4x4 and want to try them shoot me a message. These are not shipping with the kits yet, but will

If you want to try them, shoot me a message. If you have an order in but it has not shipped yet, I can get an extra set in to send to you to test them.



Finally, front skid plate. I got the oil door moved. Had to do a total redesign. I hope to do a test fit soon, and get that rolling.

Did you do the 1/2 inch?

Also, I was able to adjust my winglet at an angle (that probably made it look awkward) so that I did not have to remove that plastic bit that allows draining.

I have a 4x4 and interested in the cut wings, sent you an email

 

We have sold and sent out a few of the new wings, and are waiting to get feedback on how they fit.

I am also killing the thicker spacers for the time being. Going to be shipping two of the thin spacers at this time. I really do not like how the thicker spacers are coming out. I am still working on a thicker spacer solution, but I think the two small ones are the best option at this time.

Also, I have the front skid redesigned, and cut out. I need to link up with a local member and test fit it.

 

Also, I have a few plates that have blemishes in them. For example this one has a random hole.

willing to take 100 dollars off. I can get pictures of the other ones.

 

Not to beat a dead horse, but any update on the 2nd gen cat cover?

 

I have the parts cut and ready to test fit. Finding someone to come by has been the delay. I am tempted to ship it out to someone who is somewhat handy with a grinder. I am 98.3% sure it is going to fit.

 

Sick, where are you located? Maybe check the local forum for your area and ask for a volunteer?

Last week was crazy my plasma table needed some work so I’m going to be playing catch up this week.

 

No problem, I went ahead and bought one off of the website due to some apartments a mile from me getting hit by some cat thiefs. The plate fits great, stupid-fast shipping too.
