So, putting my truck back together and can’t find where a hose goes from the EGR system.

The hose in question is in the pic below just below the green toyota sticker. According to the vacuum diagram on the hood, there’s only one vacuum line to the EGR valve, but there are definitely two hose barbs. No other missing hoses after I put it all together, so I’m lost

Any chance you know where it attatches to? Coolant isnt coming out of it, and it is coming out of a hard line attatched to a bigger hose behind the head, going toward the driver side

Ah man I’m sorry I’m 5 hours away from that truck right now and won’t see it for another month. But maybe bumping the thread someone else will see it

There's two hoses that go into egr valve.......one in/ one out

the in comes off the heater bypass supply tube.....
the out one feeds into the IAC valve ......and then back into the engine...

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3rz-water-bypass-no-3-hose-routing.860659/#post-30683520

its a little complex....but this is how the egr and iac knows the engine temps....
and keeps carb/IAC from freezing up in zero 0 temps,,,,
