Wisconsin Tacomas and bad financial advice

Even with mods, it seems like the biggest factor is your right foot!

With the 295 MT's, I've gotten as much as 19.9, and as low as 9 MPG.

That’s why Andy got a tundra after totaling his 4Runner. He was getting like 14 mpg after all his 4Runner mods and I was getting at least that with my tundra

I really liked Tacomas for the longest time..until I got a tundra lol now the Tacoma feels like a go cart

 

And he road trips his Tundra with everybody and everything (including the dog) down to KY to visit his parents, and since he finally took some driving lessons from me, gets around 18 on the highway (he still refuses to go below 70...)

 

A Tundra would be sweet for a camper setup. @Shellshock , do you ever find the extra length and width to be a hindrance on trails?

That being said, Andy did take his Tundra to moonlight at the one stock run..... Didn't damage it, but no one should take a Tundra through moonlight, unless it's actually built lol.

 

I’ve never had any issues. I went everywhere rich and Markus did out in colorado and honestly had less issue since I had more ground clearance than rich

the tundra turns on a dime too. It’s way better than you’d expect

 

And they articulate surprisingly well

 

Similar feelings on my Tacoma.

If the next gen follows a similar path to the Tundra, then it's likely rear coil springs would replace the current rear leaf pack - that alone would be excellent for ride quality.

 

That they do… mine has a crazy amount of droop in the rear

I just remember being surprised with Andy's Tundra with how it was handling things and how much movement there was while the body was relatively stable.

 

Did you get a matching purse for yours?
