Spod trigger off cargo light

I’m having trouble hooking up a trigger from my cargo light to my Spod Bantam x.

I’ve run the trigger line from the 7.5a cargo light fuse position in the kick fuse panel but it doesn’t activate the trigger.

I’m trying to turn on a circuit that powers side and rear spot lights on the truck when I hit the unlock button or open a door.

The truck is a 21’ DCSB TRD Off-Road.

Any help is appreciated!

 

The dome light and cargo lights are on a negative switch and not a positive switch.

you’ll need some experience wiring up additional relays, or see if @DSIM makes the rock light model for the ‘21

 

No need for that gadget, negative trigger can be tap to the violet wire on the cargo switch connector.

PM @kmorgan3 for the intercept harness so you don't cut the OEM wires.
