I see a snorkel in your future, or maybe a periscope?

Recommend you drain and replace your oil. This will also tell you how much water your engine possibly ingested. Don’t go too far before doing a thorough service or you may end up with a toasted engine. I learned that the hard way with my T100 back in 1990. The engine eventually grenaded itself.

Stayed up late lat night swapping ECM connectors. I forgot to order the larger terminal so I’ll have to wait for the stuff before moving the larger wires. There are some wires that won’t be used (mine are in the engine harness), I’m contemplating removing them completely from the harness.

I had considered adding a pair of ambers to the rear bar of my roof rack for increased visibility but utilizing my existing lights was a bit cheaper!

I was T-boned on my 2010 DCLB in Oct. No frame damage and total repair cost was $10,972 which was $2200 over their initial thoughts after taking off the front fender and they didnt total mine at all. Its a 2010 with 140k on it. The local toyota dealership did the repairs and used new OEM parts cause the other guys insurance kept sending subpar used equipment. Thats including replacing both doors on the driver side. I would definitely fight over it being damaged. My step rail def helped prevent any frame damage. The word Total never came up during the repair process either. It took right at 2months for them to finish it due to having supply issues with the new parts but it also helped me realize i wouldnt want a 2021 tacoma as thats what they gave me to drive.

I was super pissed at the accident site and went off on the guy, He turned out to be a great guy as the cops put down all of his information incorrectly. Had him driving a Jeep Wrangler with the wrong name and address. THe guy also paid the tow company to take my truck to the Toyota body shop vs to the tow yard which is what the driver was adament about. He charged him $200 to go 3miles vs going the 15miles to the tow yard (they would have tried to get storage fee's) by leaving it there. The man who hit me had built the body shop for Toyota and called the head guy who provided me with a rental and waited for us due to them being closed. I had to call an apologize for going off on him. May sound funny, but i couldnt have gotten hit by a better person

Looking at front bump stops. Deciding between Wheeler's super bumps or DuroBumps. Anyone got any input between the two? Very similar price and I'm guessing performance so is it just a toss up?

I went with wheeler’s just because they seem to be more widely used by the locals I spoke to. I don’t think you can go wrong either way though.

Only tip I have is just make sure you have a pipe wrench large enough to get the old ones off.

Got close to that a few times. That is why I did this.

Used some road case latches to modify my dog platform to have a 60/40 back panel. It makes gear access far easier when I have my 56qt fridge mounted behind the driver seat.
