Anyone have an Ebay.ca link? Or any fellow Canadians purchased this from another location up here? Normally I'd buy it and ship to the States and pick it up as I'm close to the border, but right now it's not an option. Thanks!

Unfortunately for some reason it says it won't ship to Canada. Why it's on Ebay.ca is beyond me. I haven't found one yet that says it will actually ship to Canada.

Thats weird. I didn't even see that.
This one doesn't mention Canada in the shipping exclusions:

Perused through this thread for a few days before pulling the trigger on this style grill for my 2nd gen.

I’ve had good luck using 3M’s weather strip adhesive in the past, and hadn’t seen anyone even mention it throughout the pages of this thread, so I tried it! In short, it seems to work great. The bond is ridiculously strong from the back of the plastic grill to the supplies weatherstripping. I simply spread some of the adhesive over the mating surface of the weather stripping, and clamped it in place for one hour. That’s all it needed. It dries very quickly and you do not need much! Hope this helps someone. Time will tell if it holds, but this is exactly what this 3M adhesive is designed for.FC8FD6AD-62D6-4877-8242-90376AE60308.jpgE0FF088D-30D1-448A-A9D3-EBE6D52BD310.jpg 9654767A-DD8E-4E8E-9074-6F875A9F2A03.jpg748659A2-8143-4F55-92ED-A60ECFAE9179.jpg

    Thanks for doing it!

Everytime I read about this I was wondering why nobody seemed to try this.

You and me both. Ill try and give an update in a month or two after it’s been installed. But I’ll tell you - it would take a considerable amount of force to remove it off the grill as-is. It is serious, serious stuff. Very impressive.

My submission for your review. Had it colourmatched at a shop, apparently it was a pain to mask. Can confirm the Maxseal works great, guy at the shop told me to heat it up to ensure adhesion, I used a heatgun on it and seems to have worked well.

Getting my new grille ready to install. Color matched surround and TRD 2.0 style insert. I'm liking how it looks off the truck, looking forward to seeing it all together!20210928_134205.jpg

Thanks, it took a little while for me to get used to the look but I'm very happy with the end result. Unfortunately being a Canadian really drove the price up on getting a grille, but the end result was worth it. I looked at a lot of posts before deciding on the paint layout I wanted as a lot of people did theirs differently. Link above for the seal, but you can pick it up at most local auto shops, I managed to find it up here so I can't imagine it's too hard to locate in the States. One thing to note when you mount the grille, make sure the bottom center is popped over the top of the bumper. I was having issues getting my hood to close and realized it was because the grille wasn't quite seated. I had to pull it forward a bit and then it dropped into place. The sealant looks factory now, no weird gaps or leaking so I'm happy with it.

I installed this grill several months ago with black lettering instead of silver. I've been looking at replacing them with the silver since it looks really sharp but I don't want to pay full price for another grill. Does anybody have any ideas or know of any sellers of just the lettering?

Unless I'm mistaken, the letters just screw in from the back, at least on mine they did. Remove, paint, reinstall. Done?

you got any more photos of your ride? Yours is very similar to mine and I’m about to do the grille swap. Trying to decide on how I want to paint it.
