Thanks for the comments guys. Very helpful.

Personally I find very little difference with ECT on. Holds shift points a bit longer so it avoids up shifting to then downshift again right away (sometimes). But then again I think using S mode to just cap it at 5th is more effective. I’m talking about when towing here.

and I agree about regreaing. That would be the ultimate solve IMO but you know how it goes $$$. Let’s throw some air lockers on while we’re at it. Just need powerball to payoff.

Regardless I’m looking forward to getting tuned.

When towing, S Mode 4. 5 is an overdrive gear.

Gears for a 3rd gen are like, $3-4k with e lockers. Of course, paying for labor to install them (if youre not equiped to do so yourself)

    :burnrubber:

Good. The guy I got the tires from was trying to poach me as a tuning customer. He did reset the TPMS and as a act of good faith, plugged in and got rid of most of my door chimes and seat belt alarms and annoying things like that

I don't have any plans. After the first few meetups I did, I would get people who committed to coming no show so it turned into a huge headache trying to coordinate and schedule to then have people flake out. Anyone I've tuned lately, they've come here whenever fit their schedule.

Luckily his STL tune-up meeting had like seven or eight people show and that was a good time for all

People do seem to suck on the regular. @Shellshock took care of DP for me in most excellent fashion.

So, Mr penguin man, besides the tune itself what else can you customize on the truck? And has anyone figured out the anytime locker mod yet? I saw a post of yours like 2 years ago on the 3rd gen taco forum saying it was being worked on.

What else would you like customized?

I turned off all the stupid beepers on mine.

no one has figured out the locker any time. It’s controlled by a secondary module that no one has figured out yet
