My 05 tacoma 4wd.... when 4wd is engaged it immediately pulls to the left... to the point where I have to counter steer to the right to keep me going straight... in 2wd it does just fine. The tire pressure is good (which would be an issue in 4 or 2wd if it wasn't) and it has just had an alignment done. I have had it on a rack with it running in 4wd, both front wheels turn and the steering wheel stays straight, so it appears to only be an issue when under a load. I have looked all over the web and can't find someone with even the same issue.

All 4 tires the same size and with the same miles on them? Probably a long shot, but all I can think of.

Maybe a bad CV joint that binds up when the tire is on the ground and loaded?

This is pretty typical, called torque steer most FWD vehicles experience this, it's due to the drive line lengths being different out of the diff as the diff is left justified there is an extension shaft (called the ADD tube) on the passengers side that "winds up" at a slightly different rate than the shorter torque path this induces the pull.

It's only really noticeable when pulling hard on high traction surface which you shouldn't been 4WD on anyways.

If it was binding up do you think I would feel it?

I dont think this is normal, mine has never done this and i have done many WOT 4wd pulls on pavement. If it starts pulling to the left when you engage 4wd i think something is definitely amiss

You got the less torquey 2.7 though, and do you have larger tires? That makes it worse.

Mine pulls hard, always has since the 34's.

Ain't nothing wrong but physics. Longer shaft on one side means more twist before overcoming object at rest disproportionate torque bias means felt pull.

Stock sized tires though, a lot less noticeable not as much mass counteracting the applied torque.

First image is rolling 2' and second image is after rolling 10'. That has got to be more than torque steer. It is almost as if the right side is not engaged

Put it in 4wd in neutral jack it up both front tires off the ground and spin one of the wheels by hand if the other spins in the opposite direction then your ADD is working for sure.

If your ADD wasn't working you should have a blinking 4WD light on the dash or one that's not illuminated at all.

Honestly doesn't look too bad if you're doing that hands off.

I'll try and get a video of how mine pulls when I get out to my truck later.

The ADD is working. When it was on the rack and in 4WD both wheels were turning the same direction. I didn't try just turning one wheel with it not running.
