Yes, and not needed (i.e. not dremeled and replaced).

So the accumulator milling list is for people who already removed theirs and want it milled clean. It’s not a list to buy one or to trade. Maybe we can start a swap at some point if we get a pool of milled accumulators done.

Had the damn hardline sitting on the shelf for well over a year. The bleeding keeps me from taking the leap any pointers to get it perfect?

As long as you have a helper who can follow simple directions, it is easy. Check the fluid level in the cylinder every four or five pumps. The pedal will stay down until the person pulls it back up, so open the fitting, tell them to push the pedal down (with a tube on the fitting going to a container), once pedal is down close the fitting and tell them to pull the pedal up. Repeat.

You have to buy a full bottle of DOT3, so might as well put a full bottle through the system and change the clutch fluid while you are at it.

Edit: Because the pedal stays down, you can do it without a helper; but it is several repetitions of crawling under the truck.

i did the dremel method. I clamped the line and didn’t have to touch the brake pedal. The lines went right back in place and I didn’t use enough brake fluid to notice.

Did the ADM yesterday…. HOLY HELL!!! What a difference! Much more responsive, downshifting is so sweet. Live in the foothills of the Gila National Forest and Aldo Leopoldo Wilderness so lots of driving in mountainous terrain. Before the delete, downshifting would lose a lot of momentum climbing… not anymore! I have a totally different truck! Toyota could make a mint if they offered this as an option.

They could save a ton of money by just putting in a hardline instead of manufacturing a part no one wants lmao
